Banteay Meanchey Province, 09 December 2024: KB PRASAC Bank announces the soft launch of its 46th library at Teuk Chor Primary School, located in Teuk village, Teuk Chor commune, Preah Netr Preah district, Banteay Meanchey province. This move testifies the bank’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to nurture a love for reading among Cambodian youth and support educational development in local communities.
The newly constructed library is equipped with a wide range of quality books and educational materials to inspire students in their academic pursuits and foster lifelong learning habits. KB PRASAC Bank is committed to providing resources that enhance learning opportunities, contributing to the growth and empowerment of future generations.
Please be informed that as of December 2024, KB PRASAC Library Project has constructed 46 buildings covering 499 villages with a total number of 108,810 families with a total population of 446,427 in 14 provinces, including Kampong Speu, Kampong Cham, Kandal. Prey Veng, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Takeo, Preah Vihear, Battambang, Svay Rieng, Banteay Meanchey, Kep, Pursat, and Tbong Khmum, and 171,485 students directly benefited from this library project.
