Senior Research & Development Officer

Job Location:

  • Head Office, Phnom Penh

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting annual operational plan and implementation for R&D Unit.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on new product opportunity.
  • Conduct regular market survey including customer satisfaction, dropout and exit survey.
  • Proposal development (survey proposal, and other relevant proposals…).
  • Oversee the whole research processes.
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation on financial services and related projects.
  • Conduct competitor and environment analysis monthly.
  • Identify market demand and market opportunity to contribute in the growth of the institution.
  • Assist in implementing the social performance management and CSR project.
  • Other tasks require by management.

Key Selection Criteria and Qualification:​

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Social Science or equivalent.
  • Preferably have more than two-year experience in banking or/and microfinance sector.
  • Experience in field research, data collection and analysis and report writing.
  • High proficiency in research methodology & procedure.
  • Be able to communicate well with all staff, local communities and authority.
  • Ability to perform task without close supervision.
  • High motivation, initiative, willing and able to travel to the field.
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint on Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn new software systems.
  • Good knowledge of English language.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
